Biography

About

I am a psychologist and, since October 2025, Associate Professor of Social Psychology at the University of Pavia, where I have also chaired the Equal Opportunities Committee (Comitato Unico di Garanzia, CUG) since November 2025.

My research and teaching focus on the cognitive approach to social psychology, particularly social inference and impression formation.

Education and clinical training

I received a combined BSc and MSc in Psychology in 2005 and a PhD in Social, Cognitive and Clinical Psychology in 2011, both from the University of Milano-Bicocca.

I am currently a psychotherapist in training at the School of Psychotherapy Integration (Scuola di Specializzazione in Psicoterapia Integrata, SSPI) in Milan.

Before entering academia, I worked for several years as a freelance journalist on the sports desk of a local weekly newspaper in Lecco.
